Joe Dowell will be appearing with Jerry Hunts, Caravan of Stars on the weekend of May 21st in Jackson, TN. There will be 12 recording stars from the 60's, such as Johnny Tillotson and Buddy Holly's Crickets band.

Kool 103 presents it's 9th Caravan of Stars Concert. This night of solid gold memories will take place Saturday May 21st, 6:30pm at Loyd Auditorium on the campus of Freed Hardeman University. The line-up of original artist performing live include....Al Wilson, Andy Kim, Billy Joe Royal, Carl Mann, Jumpin' Gene Simmons, Jerry Jaye, Jimmy Elledge, Joe Dowell, Johnny Tillotson, Roy Head, Sal Valentino...origianl lead singer of the Beau Brummels, as well as ex-Hollies vocalist Terry Sylvester. Barnes & Noble is hosting a special reception for Joe Dowell and his new Bear Family Records CD. Joe will be at Barnes & Noble (Saturday, September 18, 2004 from 2pm - 4pm) to greet and sing for his friends. Copies of his latest CD "Wooden Heart," will be available.
